Lithuanian based ESmotorsport team made their race debut in the 2019 FIA World Rallycross Championship of Latvia.
Team founder and owner Ernestas Staponkus himself a multiple winner of Lithuanian autocross and rally cross championships lead his team to a fourth place finish in the 2019 championship race.
The FIA World Rallycross Championship series currently consists of 12 two-day events driven on closed circuits with mixed terrain and surfaces and extreme conditions. Entered as a wildcard the ESmotorsport team drove their new 0-60mph in 1.9s, 600BHP ŠKODA Fabia WRX EVO supercar through gruelling and tough conditions to complete the race and 2019 season. Race driver Rokas Baciuska started the championship before handing over to Francois Duval at Spa in Belgium, Kevin Abbring for Hell and Sweden where Abbring managed to finish an impressive fourth in both of the finals and rounded up the season with Matvey Furzahkin.
